Smooth Jazz musician Michael Franks sings about being HA

If you are dreaming about being HA one day and/or soon like me, and want some gentle music with the same theme, you seriously need to check out smooth jazz singer Michael Franks. I had never heard of him, but he was introduced to me by my old Filipino boss about 10 years ago when he loaned me the Blue Pacific album that I ended up loving. Then recently I listened to all his complete other albums on streaming website grooveshark, and now own 13 of his albums on CD. This guy should be the official musical artist of HA. He has created a tropical smooth jazz sound with distinct HA theme lyrics.
He's been around since the last 1970's, and is still releasing albums. His best stuff is from the 80's I think. It was only fitting a Filipino guy introduced him to me, I've heard him played quite often on Filipino internet radio station crossover, and his music fits in perfectly with the lifestyle and culture there. Yes you might not like smooth jazz style music, but this guys stuff is so gentle and mellow it's hard not to like it, and the guy is a musical and lyrics genius, plus he always writes some seriously horny songs that will get girls wet fast. It's the style and lyrics he has mixed together that I love.
Usually it's the tune that I really only care for in music, the words are not important, but this guys lyrics are so good and usually have the HA theme. When I listen to him, it's almost like I wrote the lyrics, and he made the music, his lyrics speak to me so much. I'm not emabarrassed to admit when I listen to some of his songs and think about my time in the Philippines last year and my upcoming trip there I fee like crying. It's like the guy wrote the soundtrack to my soon to be HA life. The song Tahitian Moon about escaping western society and meeting a pacific island girl usually makes me choke, and it's from 1982! I hope it will do the same for others too. Give this guy a listen, I think you will agree with me.
Here's some of my favorite songs and lyrics so you can see what I am talking about:
Island life 1987
Keep believing you soon will earn your turn to flash in the pan
It's deceiving' cause nothing kills like this metropolis can Everywhere there's blind ambition
Dog eat dog and screw you You do unto others and they do unto you
Everyday you fight taxicabs and traffic, permanent frowns
Lay awake at night wondering if you hear burglary sounds Think it's time to make my exit
Kiss all this goodbye and Catch the next flight south connecting to my island life
Look at me I'm a refugee from the island life I belong where the shade is palm and the mango's ripe
I'll do all my swinging in some hammock by a turquoise sea For free
Guess it must be clear I do not belong in this cityscape I am not from here and I do intend to make my escape
Take me back to waterfalls in volcanic canyons Where coconuts and orchids are my sole companions
Look at me I'm a refugee from the island life I belong where the shade is palm and the mango's ripe
How inviting it would make always killing time if you Came too
Can't you see we're just refugees from the island life We belong where the shade is palm and the mango's ripe
We'll do all our swinging in some hammock by a turquoise seaFor free
Tahitian Moon 1982
Had to get away I couldn't stand another dreary day of people with the same expression on each face
guess I needed to find some secret place I bought a round trip cheap I broke my lease and gave away my heap
I flew down to Tahiti where soft breezes blow, and I rented a grass roof bungalow
There I met an island girl so fair she was the child of a dream, We both wore flowers in the hair
bathing each day in the stream perfumes around and everywhere Out of the sea she came to me, suddenly we were vis-a vis
love beneath a mango tree, under the tahitian moon Now I'm saving my way back to you Tahiti, take me in your arms again
I knew I couldn't stay, I couldn't stay another perfect day, of leaving in this paradise without an end
guess I needed to feel confused again I promised to return/the tears upon her cheeks began to burn
she handed me a note I promised not to lose It said love it's the pain you can't refuse
There I left my island girl so fair she was the child of a dream
Never Satisfied 1983
Kid inside a candy store Sensation Temptation Always gotta have some more You love that sticky stuff
Ain't no way you're lettin' go You tease me You squeeze me Well there's something you should know I never get enough
I know I'm never I know I'm never I know I'm never satisfied Go slow I'm never Oh no I'm never I'm hardly ever satisfied
Girl we sure can loop the loop Fantastic Gymnastic We can slam it through the hoop And all that tricky stuff We should thank the stars above
Elated We're mated Happy prisoners of love We never get enough I know we're never I know we're never I know we're never satisfied
Go slow we're never Oh no we're never We're hardly ever satisfied No matter what we do we're never satisfied 'Cause when it's me and you we're never satisfied
On the inside 1990
I've wasted a lifetime Pursuing an image that did not exist Except in my own mind Except in my own dream.
My life has convinced me That happiness never can really be found Until you remember The voice of your own heart.
It's all on the inside To say you can find it elsewhere Would be wrong. It's all on the inside
Each soul has it's song. It was here all along On the inside. It cannot be captured
On canvas it cannot be Carved into stone. No art can sustain it Believe me I've tried.
It always eludes you No matter what strategem you may devise. It's no destination
A compass can find. There's only love on the inside No counterfeit no need for it. A perfect place for your heart to hide
No danger near nothing to fear. Life's hurricane can't reach within
