Did any of you like Seinfeld? What was so funny about it?

Who here liked Seinfeld? Am I the only one who thought it was stupid? The characters were whiney, acted over the top, made a big deal out of every little thing, and were annoying. What was so funny about them? The characters weren't funny and they had no morals or charisma either. They just overacted about stupid little things.
Who else felt the same about Seinfeld?

It found absurdity in the everyday and mundane.

I never thought he was the slightest bit funny, I'd rather watch c-span. His fan base are all psyche patients.

I always liked Seinfeld. I think it was perhaps the only American sitcom which had brilliant writing and was intelligent.
It illustrated the crazy situations which one can find oneself in in American life.
Sometimes I hated the woman on the show, though, because she was a total bitch, but that was an accurate portrayal of an American woman.
Ridiculus actors and salery

I think it is rediculus these actors and sports palyers are living in luxury million dollar houses and most people are suffering and high unemployment.
Anyone that pays sinefield millions for acting is nuts. I think that is another reason the rest of the world looks at this one and knows we are way out of line with actors salarys.
