Hey check this out. A guy running a foreign bride site contacted me about advertising on Happier Abroad. When I saw his website, I found out that he was on NBC with Dick Clark talking about Foreign women vs. American women! You guys will love it. Check it out:



Boy he had a lot of guts to go on that show with an audience of American women in the background. Hats off to him.

I spoke with Larry a while ago - his book came out at about the same time as mine. His focus is on Christian men looking for Asian women.

I think he's a good guy, but I've done enough of these interviews to be convinced that taking the 'anti-woman' approach does not further the cause. It's not about them. It's about our being open to more options for our lives and choosing what we feel is the best option for us.

Most American men are going to end up with American women. That's their choice. We've been exposed to more options. Once I'd learned about and met foreign women I was convinced that this was the option for me.

I don't blame American women or judge men who decide to stay with what they can find locally. BUT, I'm SO glad I discovered this option for myself and six years later I still feel like I've found the Holy Grail of amazing life-partners.

This is an interesting subject. I wonder about this though. I mean, on one hand, being negative and bashing women can have an effect of deligitimacizing our cause if we just look like we are grumpy guys with an axe to grind. But on the other hand, by clarifying the reasons many of us guys are looking abroad, it can help other men relate and add two and two together and think to themselves, "yea, these guys are right, I see what they are talking about now, Ive experienced this, and now these guys are telling us that not all women are like this" If we can make guys realize that there are REAL differences and tell guys what these differences are, yet do it in a way that does not come across as negative bashing, I think it really sells well and can covert a significant deal of men.

If all we do is promote it simply as another option, perhaps its not as pursuasive. I dont know. Its a thin line. Its a catch 22. In order to tell guys the differences so they can relate, you risk coming across as just being a basher. So I think it has to be presented in a honest forthright right way. Its all about presenetation and Larry did a great job and doing exactly that.

Did you guys see the black mangina running to the American women's defense? LOL. How funny. I love Larry's comeback basically telling him "you got money, you are extremely successfull and host a TV program" Duh! Of course he gets the top 5% of women in the US.

By the way - Larry lives in Dallas too. He lives in Plano which is in my area, I live on the Plano /Dallas line. (I graduated from Plano Schools). What an interesting coincidence.

In the NBC discussion, when that narrow guy in red said "Aren't women and relationships the same everywhere? Isn't it an individual difference?" Larry should have replied with this:

"Yes there are individual differences, but there are group and national differences as well. For example, the divorce rate in the US is 50-60 percent, while in most other countries it's much lower. That is an example of a group or national difference. So yes, individual differences exist and so do group and national differences."

That's what I would have said. It would have blown those guys away. lol

Larry reminds me of Mark Davis in the way his presentation and delivery is so smooth. John Adams is pretty good too but not quite as smooth as these guys.

Danny Bon-ah-"douche"-e sitting there going against Larry (yes from the Partridge Family all grown up: the redhead mangina). I used to like that kid, but as an adult, Danny is a mangina'ed dick. The light-skinned Black mangina retorts twice that dating foreign women and American women is "universal" like women are ubiquitous like that around the globe.
He's half-right; if only they were westernized - influenced by western media. They are the worst women to date.

While I was in Thailand, I met only two Thai women whom were n*#$@! lovers that had spoken broken, decent-enough English, and they loathed my a_ss: they couldn't stand me. I was too "proper" and too "nice" and too "light skin" for them....they always make fun of how "melaninly-challenged" I am and how I don't fit their "real" definition of what a "virtuous Black American male" is supposed to be like.

I tell them that I'm American with a Brazilian background, and they don't know how to compute that - sometimes they lose interest right on the fly just like that!

Like I've been saying, you can't win the war using their own tactics... You also can't win from a position of weakness. If you're not married it makes your position look weak. Men who have successfully found a wife overseas can openly say there wasn't a woman for me in my home country and just leave it at that. If they ask why just politely tell them no thank you that's you'll open Pandora's box on that subject.

Just like winning teams do, just point to the scoreboard.

That show was STARVING for your input. The guy in the red shirt was starving for a left hook (freaking eunich)! He claims that he's met many foreigners. I'm assuming he met them here in the states. Americanized foreigners who act and behave like american women. Larry should have asked him where he met those foreigners. He would have then asked Larry what difference it made. Larry - assuming he has his counter punching hand ready - would tell him that since america corrupts foreigners, they would have lost their pureness and naturalness they once had before being tainted by the contaminated air that is america.

Notice the woman form texas who said that he can't handle a real/strong woman. SO FREAKING PREDICTABLE THAT IT ISN'T FUNNY. Just like clock work. It is one of their tried and untrue fall back comments they make when things heat up. She says it with a smile and a slight giggle, but it is such a predictible comment they make once they find out nice guys have options... or should I say 'option' (singular).

I've been abroad and I don't see any difference in women at all. The only difference is in other countries the women will act nice to get money, that's the only difference there is. They are not nicer people in anyway shape or form, and in fact American women can in many instances be much much nicer people.

Women from third world countries will say or do anything for money...

I feel sorry for the whole world as they are being led astray by every means possible and most of these people are going to end up even more miserable than when they started out.

But everyone has to learn their own lessons in this life, nobody can teach them....
