David's, the bridal gown store, has fallen upon hard times and is filing for bankruptcy. I wonder why

Whatever the case, this is great news! Seems that MGTOW is beginning to kill off marriage in America far better than we could have ever imagined! This will only increase to the point where government will have to back off from maintaining its grip on coercive marriage.

I am not sure if this is really about MGTOW. It is more about that both, men and women in the States and elsewhere in Western countries, don't have enough money anymore to pay for an expensive marriage celebration any longer. They just live together somehow.
Of course this is legally seen a bit more tricky for the woman looking for divorce. However still lucrative - if she is a bit patient, co-habitation is almost the same as marriage after a few years.

Interesting. Economy is on the rebound, or at least has been. With brick and mortar retailers losing out to online sales, would think wedding dresses tried on and fitted and altered locally would be something should survive and doing better past 2 years. Again, interesting.

CNBC article says....
"Millennials now marry later on. When they do, they often opt for non-traditional garments. Newer online retailers like Reformation now offer brides more relaxed alternatives to the traditional gowns worn in years past."

I stopped by Central Park back in October, one weekend, and I saw numerous (probably five or so) wedding photo shoots taking place.
