DUNCAN, Okla. -- Prosecutors filed charges against three teenagers Tuesday after police said the boys randomly targeted an Australian baseball player as he jogged and shot him in the back, killing him, to avoid the boredom of an Oklahoma summer day.

Christopher Lane, 22, of Melbourne, died Friday along a tree-lined road on Duncan's well-to-do north side. Two teenagers, 15- and 16-year-olds from the gritty part of the town, were charged with first-degree murder and ordered held without bond.

Who kills people out of boredom like that? The U.S. is quickly turning into a Third-World cesspool...

Are they gonna get death penalty for this? All 3 of them?

This is sick and I cannot believe people still say this is a great country. I mean because you are bored? Haven't teens heard of reading books, doing sports, possibly going outdoors to camp? I mean if I was able to go back to my teenage years, it was boring sure, but I actually did something constructive as possibly even play video games and read. Disgusting... Most likely they will not go to an adult prison but in the case they go; they deserve to be girlfriends to one of the prison gangs.

Sometimes the decision to try juveniles as adults is clearly wrong, as in the case of Allan Iverson. In this case, thank god Oklahoma is. Get these animals off the streets for good. I do think their juvenile status will preclude the death penalty.

I think that this goes to show you how far America has fallen. Of course, it is right to condemn these teens since 2 of the teens were black. However, I can say that if anyone did this regardless of race, it tells you that it is sickening that a foreign baseball player in midwest is walking and gets murdered because the teens were bored and wanted to have fun.

Hero you are still a tool. So blinded by skin hatred that you still pull the race card quickly without thinking first when 1 black, 1 Hispanic mixed kid, and 1 white kid go on a murder rampage together, with high powered weapons because they were just bored. This is the America I was talking about. The decay is hitting all skin colors. You cannot just simply isolate it all to just one type or kind anymore. When the whites get worse, the black and Hispanics will too. To be honest I get more nervous about raising kids here everyday....In many strange ways, China is much safer than the US, but eh....I'm not ready to go over there, right now at least.... If China fixes their 3rd world highway system and start strongly enforcing seat belts and other public safety things, I would move there quickly.
