I'll believe it when it happens. If it does happen, it won't be a war only between China and Japan...but also their allies (both sides). That would include the USA of course. The middle east is child's play compared to a war with China and it's allies. Those that think they are "safe" by living abroad are going to be very disappointed. There is no true refuge from war and economic turmoil no matter where you are currently located...
Again, giving specific dates is scaremongering IMO...does much more harm than good. I believe shit WILL hit the fan at some point, but accurate dates will never be given...

Wars often start in unexpected places.
Maybe the new Thai government is ultra-nationalist, does some sabre rattling and goes to war with Cambodia.
