Commuters Sleep In Grocery Stores After Abandoning Cars On Highway

Watch the video.
Not only do you have to prepare for events, you have to prepare for how other people are going to react to those events.
A good number of these people would have done fine had it not been for derps further up the road either driving poorly or abandoning their cars.

Back in England now and we're being battered by storms. I think there have been 12 storms now in the 2 months I got back from Thailand.

You'd expect the occasional storm in Winter, but we've had 3 this week!

The only good thing is that it's been pretty warm.

Honestly, I haven't been paying attention to to the Southeast storms. Here in the Northern Midwest we have had snow at least 3-4 days out of the week. The longest break from snow we have had so far was a week ago with 4 days straight of no snow. Great year for the snowmobiles, snow plow trucks, skid loaders, and snow blowers. It's a shame alot of the people down there are ill prepared for winter driving conditions. Although, we do have a few people here who still think it's ok to go 55-65 mph on a snow packed and ice covered road. The snow they are probably getting would be below average-average Midwest winter under normal conditions.

The South is completely shut down by two inches and some ice. No Duke-Carolina game tonight, which I'm sure has made ESPN apoplectic. Duke would need to travel eight miles, and no can do.
