It is true that USA has severe problems considering medical care and this makes many Americans aggressive, desperate and penniless.
Not so few US citizens just travel abroad for medical care like dental work or small surgery.

Medical fees are a horror in USA.

I remember I had 2 times a small eye surgery.
For the first time just in Thailand in one of the best and expensive clinics, privately paid USD 300,-. excellent service.
I was asking just for fun in USA how much and the reply was USD 2000,- - a ridiculous amount.

For the second surgery I was in Japan and as I have Japanese health insurance I paid only about USD 40,-.
