Johnny Depp Case and Pendulum Swing Against MeToo! Movement

My daughters pointed out the Johnny Depp Amber Herd case was ending. I ended up watching it on 2x speed.

From what I gather, he got $15M for defamation and she got $2. The said something about meeting with her again. I don't know know if the judge can decrease the amount. I read she was worth $8M. Her biggest part was in Aquaman.

I noticed how many 'yay Johnny!' type tweets were zooming by, a lot from feminine-sounding names. This is an actor a lot of women like because of his looks, at least before he aged and swelled up like a fish wearing a necktie. It may have implanted in the national consciousness, females also, the fact that men can be falsely accused of abuse, and maybe the masses will be a bit more careful. During the MeToo movement, even if it seemed like a lot of rich and famous libs were brought down by accusations, it reminded us men that all it took was a woman to make an accusation to really hurt our careers and our good name.
