Why are Classical Liberalism's fathers critical of women?

Post by zacb »

Mencken, Locke, Prodhoun, among others, all criticized women. Why does it seem like those advocating freedom have rough relations with women. Also consider Bastiat and Smith, both whom never married. It just seems women and freedom don't mix.
