Interesting video. I've always been skeptical of America's system of "multiculturalism" and "interracial" mixing because it's essentially based on old colonial race hierarchies. Hierarchies are non egalitarian by nature. When I mean hierarchies I mean all races are stereotyped to some extent and are pressured to conform to a role within society. It's all self perpetuating. People are not allowed freedom to be who they really want to be.

It seems that race relations between the ethnic groups of America can range from feeling very ackward, to being downright hostile. Personally, I find the US to be an utter nightmare when it comes to the subject of racial harmony. There is just so much historical baggage between many of us, not to mention that our disfunctional culture dictates that in order to be accepted each member of our society must align themselves with some generic archetype.

I realize that racial/social conflict exists at varying levels in every nation on our planet, but I think the key for many of us who wish to live a happy life is simply to choose to reside in countries where the common ethnic conflicts there don't involve the race or history of the expatriate themself. For instance, many Europeans seem to fair well in non-confrontational cultures like Thailand and other Southeast Asian countries. Or, there are American Blacks who seem to be more content once they move to places like Brazil, or even Europe.

This is one reason I struggle so much in choosing a destination to explore for myself. There are so many choices, yet how many of them are ideally suited for my needs and desires? If I am going to belong to a new community, I need to know that I will be somewhat accepted first. In America, I can get by fine as it is, but I doubt I'd ever be truly satisfied if I were to stay here. Life is short, and one must choose their battles wisely. Focusing on acheiving racial harmony or equality in the US seems futile, and a colossal waste of time to me. The media tries to promote this idea that interracial relationships will somehow heal or otherwise solve the racial disharmony in the US, or that men and women will somehow find what they have been lacking in their romantic lives by mating with a member of another race. Personally, I see all American Women to be problematic from the standpoint of finding a mate, race aside. I would rather take on the challenge of surviving in a non-jewified nation if I can help it.

Excellent post and I concur. ONE of the disadvantages of living in Americas IS indeed the racial tension. This is due to the fact that the history of America was founded on slaughtering the Native Americans and stealing their land, then importing people from around the world (i.e., Chinese, Africans and poor Europeans) to build up the infrastructure for a small group of people ( i.e. Jews, 70% of Jews were slave owners). So it's only natural that the descendants from all this mess are consciously or subconsciously bitter, angry, distrustful, and resentful towards each other.

In other words, its not like all of us came to this continent on peaceful terms and agreed to build a civilization together. In one way or another, a large percentage of people were FORCED to be here and they were FORCED to add productivity to a civilization that was not their own; and to add insult to injury, racial gropes such as African Americans (unlike Native Americans who get some kind of money from casinos) are flat out disfranchised, (even in 2011!), which is why the youth turn to crime, violence, and self destruction as they are stuck in survival mode with little options and no basic resources to trade with other nations to work their way out of chronic poverty.

In addition to this, African Americans were completely cut off from Africa and lost their ancient traditions unlike the Africans in Brazil who received a fresh supply of Africans from Africa over a longer period of time that helped refresh them and keep them aware of where they came from. Also, in Brazil during the time when the Portuguese ran things they did not set up segregation or believe anything was inherently wrong with interracial relationships or the differences in skin color therefore race is not taken so seriously as it is in North America.
