This might sound a bit odd, but I swear it’s true: pretty much every single Chinese girl we've met has got a crush on my boyfriend.

He’s tall, blonde, Finnish, and takes good care of himself. And the Chinese girls like what they see.

I quickly got used to the longing stares at the metro or in public places. I also soon got used to having to ‘pee on him’ (a intimate term that we use when one of us should ‘mark his/her territory -eg, deliver a kiss’ and show the onlookers that the object they are drooling over is in fact taken), as well as having problems getting served in restaurant as many girls were too shy/nervous to come up to our table. “For Christ’s sake, he’s already got a girlfriend!â€￾ I often wanted to yell. “And she is sitting next to him! Stop ignoring my absence, despos!!â€￾ But sometimes (or quite often, actually) it seemed like I was invisible to those girls. So I figured it was easier to ignore it.

However, sometimes it just goes overboard.

Once inside a clothing shop, I was in the changing room trying on a dress meanwhile my boyfriend was waiting outside.
“I wonder if there’s something weird with my clothes,â€￾ my boyfriend said. “The shop assistant keeps on starring at me, giggling.â€￾
“Oh, funny,â€￾ I said, “maybe she’s got the hots for you.â€￾
“I’m not sure. She’s almost a bit hysterical, and her face is all red.â€￾
“Well maybe you should wait outside then. So she doesn't pass out of the excitement.â€￾

My boyfriend obliged, and stepped outside the shop meanwhile I paid for the dress.
“That boy!!!â€￾ the shop assistant said, forgetting (?) to count the money I was handing over. “He is so handsome! He is the most beautiful boy I have ever seen!â€￾ She giggled like a ten-year-old.
“Oh really,â€￾ I replied acidulously. Oblivious to my sourness, she went on.
“He is so perfect. Is he your friend?!â€￾
“My BOYFRIEND;â€￾ I corrected.
“Oh?!â€￾ She gave me a quick ‘once-over’ and started laughing uncontrolled.
“How old is he?â€￾
“27â€￾
“Oh, he is so beautiful, please tell him I think he is beautiful, please tell him I said so!â€￾ I could sense the desperation in her voice.
“Sure, I will tell my BOYFRIEND that you said so!â€￾
“Oh thank you! He’s so beautiful….â€￾

Yikes! As soon as I get my change I left quicker than quick.

And how does my boyfriend handle all the attention?
Well, he says he doesn’t care. But I know he loves it.

Pffffft! I am 5'8" black with muscles, arguably handsome, and girls did the same thing when my fiance and I go shopping in China.... Sometimes we got followed by jealous/curious guys and girls! It's not uncommon to hear my baby say my chinese name, grab my hand, and pull me in a different direction... I think it is funny. Sometimes I wave at the ones staring and giggling alot. She doesn't really like that when I do it. But hey she knows I'm silly.

You have to understand immature Chinese girls mindset. They want any man that already has a girlfriend....if he was by himself sure he would still get some attention, but not as much as being with someone already. Being tall white and blonde helps alot, he will always get more play than I would.

I got this ALOT in Japan too, but I was solo then. They giggle stare alot more too. Big smiles and everything.... They aren't shy about letting a guy know they like what they see at all....Walk back and forth through the tokyo airport and you might see this at least 2-3 times.

Im passably white(although im palestinian),Ive went up and kissed asian girls visiting from australia,fondling them etc so I guess its just asian girls being easy for any white man.

but Ive also heard Singaporean friends of mine demand a tall blonde man.some of the things they say,shows how much they worship ANY white man.they also said blonde is best,but they like all as long as its white,hazel eyes,grey eyes,blue eyes are all good etc
