Is race the same thing as a breed?

Humans are all the same species, just like dogs are all the same species. However, a chihuahua and a doberman are very different breeds. They look different and act different. It's like that with different races of people. The races don't just look differently, they also have different temperaments, level of intelligence, body build, etc.

Why aren't races of people just called breeds like dogs?

Why is it an autopsy with humans and a necropsy with animals? It is just a convention.

Breeds are purposely and artificially selected for certain characteristics. Humans reproduce based on natural selection.

That repeated, artificial coupling has harmful effects on dogs after many generations. Not only do the various breeds look different than they did many years ago, but their health tends to be far worse as time goes on due to lack of hybrid vigor or lack of genetic diversity to remove mutations and DNA errors.

Jews used to be the closest thing to bred humans because they were strategically matched in marriage by elders according to intelligence and talent and they have outperformed all other groups intellectually as a result. However, this has come at a huge cost physically as they are not noted for physical prowess and tend to have problematic genetics for good health. That has attenuated over the years because intermarriage has alleviated many of these previous genetic issues.

CE got most of it but humans have freedom of will and can have sex and procreate with whomever they like, pedigree dogs can't - pedigree breeds are bred from stud dogs whose sperm costs thousands (and with horses, tens if not hundreds of thousands of pounds)

However, if you let dogs/bitches f***ed what they liked when on heat, there would be no pedigree dogs.

Correct. That being said, the Indian Pariah Dog is said to be the most genetically fit dog in the world both physically and in terms of intelligence. Why? Because they have been breeding through natural selection for thousands of years.
