Male contraception coming next year

I’m surprised this hasn’t already been posted. This will be a major step in the social emancipation of men - a fully reversible, fully reliable male contraceptive with no side effects.

Clinical trials are due to start in early 2018.
Meh. How many years between start of clinical trials and an available product?
