My friend who is also an immigrant pointed out this thing long time ago, but I did not really believe it because it did not make sense. How can it make any logical sense? I just experienced it myself

I went to a decent nightclub in my area. Typical cheezy hip-hop playing all night, all kinds of slutty American girls around etc. Very typical. Club had a decent ratio, about 1,5 guys to 1 girl, you guys probably know that is good for the U.S., sometimes it is 5 guys to 1 girl. So I am buying a drink at the bar for my Russian female friend and there are 2 American girls next to me. They are standing all alone with that important-I-am-a-queen/perm-a-scowl look on their faces. Then one of them says: "What a sausage fest! This place sucks!" I just could not keep it, so I turn to her and say "Excuse me, sausage fest? Are you a lesbian?" She looks at me like I am some kind of weirdo and says "Tonight I could be a lesbian". I respond something like "There are awesome guys here, learn to appreciate", she shut up and started clicking her cell phone, I left with a drink for my friend.

WOW! What can I say? In Russia ANY decent guys are in high demand! Girls night out means girls go out HOPING to find new guys. Girls try hard to be surrounded with decent guys in Russia or Eastern Europe. Only in U.S. girls want many girls around. WHY? Damn, WHY? To have more competition? To compete for smaller number of guys? This is so stupid and retarded, I just can't even describe the level of stupidity of this behavior!

I meant that long distance communication is a waste of time in my opinion because it only offers you 1-2 time sex, relationship is not going to work out anyway unless it is pure love which is close to impossible to find in the States. Therefore, long distance will get you *maybe* one night stand, but you have to fly to another state for it, so it becomes too complicated. It is worth it though if you or that girl is planning to live together, i.e. relocate to one another.
