The point of the OP in that thread is common knowledge. Real Estate in English based systems has been the property of the crown since the time of Billy the Conqu. That is why it is called real (Spanish for royal) estate.

There is a tax on everything. Death tax , captial gain tax etc.etc.
Surprise they dont have a birth tax ..if they did it definite control population growth.

Only indirect taxes, and that which are true taxes. Property taxes are not true taxes at all, and neither are they even taxes. Nope, property taxes are really property rents, or more accurately, rents of land used for public purposes. And as obvious, many posters in that thread just as much don't want to hear that property taxes are rents of land used for public purposes covered behind a deceitful mask as they don't want to hear that the World Trade Center was purposefully imploded on 9/11.

It's far worse in countries like Brazil, South Africa, and the Philippines.

In Communist countries it can be bad, but definitely not as bad as in those places.

Both the "left" and "right" think the rich and industry pay the taxes for all the doody-goody pet-projects; in reality those costs are simply passed on to the consumer...

Poor people can treated badly in the US, but they're not treated as literally subhuman trash as in India. There's job and housing discrimination, social rejection, and so on, but at least there's some reasonable chance for social mobility unlike in India. Over there, Brahmins actually consider dalits (untouchables) to be vermin, and the caste systems in place mean that social mobility is all but impossible.

Its more like, get used to it, it'll make you tougher. (alarm clocks, work, driving fast, etc).

Then at some point they lash out against a poor person. They have no awareness of this.

To some people, having kids just makes this problem worse, I think.

Think about it, even rich CEOs are addicted to this habit.

America isn't communist. Even if public schools started requiring uniforms it isn't even close to communist. Capitalism in America - you need to think.
