I just got an email stating that Meetup has just banned all singles meetup groups and meetup events! How despicable! It is really sounding now like America is moving towards a Federal criminalization of singles mingling.

Hey Traveller, to me that sounds crazy!!!! But sense that's the case I think Meetup should change it's name to something else entirely.

I'll bet that Meetup was getting a lot of complaints from guys who were getting contacted by scammers. I just got contacted by a scammer on Meetup yesterday.

Meetups are pretty much a waste of time anyway. I went to one ghost hunting meetup a few years ago, almost nobody showed up.

You're kidding me right?

Who knows? Maybe there were single guys that abused it .

I knew someone who constantly sent me warnings via email and now on facebook. They are never correct. A search of a string of words always leads to a debunking.
