A very quick one re th OP

Just skimmed through the OP, the title caught my eye. Some of what I've read I agree with, some not so much. The thing I want to throw in is about how mixing with older people has made me more confident and socially-savvy and much more laidback. I've been a regular at a folk session for about 4 years now. A lot of those situations that come up on nights out where you're not sure how to act, they're a piece of pis, it#s just shocking how inept a lot of those 'cool' kids really are.

I don't think that people looking younger is a bad thing. Asians look the most young out of anyone, they have the highest IQs and their societies are currently the best ones. Wouldn't you prefer if your future wife looked like she was in her 20s well into her 40s the way Asian women do? I don't get why increasing neoteny is seen as undesirable.

If you were talking about the political beliefs on the other hand, you'd have a point, but I think neoteny is a good thing.

The youth have been handed a crap bag big time on many fronts, you need fathers in the home to start and some of the youth are the most talented to date. Just look at the KC quaterback for starts and not just that but using that for one example, the youth talent is out there and better than ever but it has beeen neglected by the previous gen big time..

The Ponzi economy and society has a good bit to do with all this.
