Why does the US media think that anyone is dumb enough to spend hours watching the huge all important breaking news about the David Letterman sex and extortion scandal?! They even have expert analysts on there to give their opinion as though it were a huge thing that's going to affect the world and all our lives. For them to think that I'd sit for hours and listen to that shit, is a total insult to my intelligence!

I can't believe how they waste million dollar per hour airtime on such shit.

Why don't they cover the arguments of this website, or Ladislav's deep cultural comparisons instead, or Momopi's wise Chinese proverbs? At least they are more interesting, fascinating and useful.

I couldn't agree more! Who gives two shits about what's going on in celebrities lives? I don't give a rat's ass about Paris Hilton, Britney Spears, Jessica Simpson or any other hollywood celebrity. When Michael Jackson died, the media covered it for weeks and didn't talk about much else! I mean, they covered it day and night like the president had died or the pope had died. I mean come on, just a celebrity died it's not the end of the world for Gods sake!

There are a shit load of more important things going on in the world other than what's going on in celebrites lives!

During the 2008 Superbowl half time, a 30 second spot commercial costed $2.7 million dollars.

The US Media would be happy to put you on TV, if you can bring in the bucks. That's all.

If you want your written publication to reach a broad audience, you need to publish at 6th-7th grade reading level. And if you were speaking to the audience at one of those day time talk shows, you probably need to dumb it down to 4th grade level on the Flesch-Kincaid scale. Their target audience is in the lower 50 percentile.
