I will only buy and drink Mexican Coca Cola. I won't buy any soft drinks that contain high fructose corn syrup. I don't and won't ever drink any soda that contains high fructose corn syrup. Mexican Coke tastes lighter, crisper, softer, and finer. American Coke and sodas with high fructose corn syrup are thick, heavier, and don't taste good.

Actually a pretty good analogy for Mexico vs US.

Like the US, Mexico is a corporate oligarchy. But Mexico lags behind in cramming monstrous stuff down its people's throats.

Mexican corporate elites still worry about how they look to the people.

Well you know, Coca-Cola literally had coca back in the early 1900s. And that stuff's Latin American. Just sayin'.

My wife just had a Mexican Coke the other day and told me how much better it is. Of course.

The real question is whether there exist any American products of any kind that aren't inferior to the foreign equivalent. As far as I can tell, everything made in (mainstream) America is shit.

I was a firearms enthusiast in my youth. American-made firearms seemed quite good then and I imagine they still are. I can't think of anything good made in America apart from that.

Before NAFTA, Mexico had no diabetes problem. Don't ask me for a medical explanation, I don't know exactly why. But generally American food is shit and whenever a country starts importing American food, it gets sick.

I only read the title of the thread so I'll chime in. Japan's post-Hiroshima avenger gift to America is/was HFCS, and it really is biological warfare on America if you were to think about it. Cane sugar is healthier to consume which is what Mexican Coca-Cola is made out of, but Bonafont sugar fresh waters in Mexico are way tastier.
