I am a black man and German women are amazing to me. Like you said, they are respectful, friendly, nice, intelligent and independent. Also funny! I have talked to them mainly online, but many of them messaged me or when I message one I find interesting, 9 times out of 10 they respond.

Many German women have told me the exact same thing: German men do not approach. German men do not treat German women like women. Many of these women are too awesome to be single and most of them have been single for years. Many of the German women I talked to say that they don't even like German men.

This is just my experience, but since you are Aussie, they would love you! German women seem to like gentlemen.

I am not expert on this subject, but I have talked to many of them to know how they are and what they want in a man. This is why I am moving to Germany next year. German women are my favorite women by far.

Sounds good man. I have also noticed that if they aren't approached by men as often, then not only are they more likely to approach you, but they are also more likely to respond if you approach them (instead of ignoring you).

They are also more likely to have realistic standards. Here in Australia women have unrealistically high standards, because their ego's are artificially inflated with all the men they get hitting on them. As a result, the average man doesn't stand a chance. If a woman here rated a 7, she would probably only date at least an 8 or higher.

I am probably also moving to Switzerland (the German speaking part) next year. I would imagine that the women there would be quite similar to German women given how close it is to Germany? If not, then at least its not far to jump over the border!

I don't know what German women you have talked to or seen, but the ones I talk to very feminine and look feminine. I just dig how German women look. Maybe I am weird? I just like women that look natural and average looking. These girls are not average looking, but they are very natural looking. I am not complaining one bit!

Wow, I have met quite a few German women when travelling and this hasn't been my experience at all.

I'm with you there, I much prefer natural looking women compared to ones that pile on the makeup! This is one thing I also love about German women.

The Belgians don't speak German. They speak French in the south and Flemish (a dialect of Dutch) in the north. Some living close to the border with Germany probably speak some German, but that's all.

I've dated and lived with German women, and while they may be good in the sack, they also tend to be VERY judgmental and critical of everyone and everything. Some of the most horrible and soul-damaging comments I've ever had spoken to me were by German women. If you want an overbearing, nagging, and hyper-critical wife or GF, German ones are a sure bet. I would personally never date a German woman again. Maybe that's why the German men stay away from them. I think as a foreign man you need to take into account the behavior of the native men towards their native women, in whatever country you go to. There may be a reason the men act the way they do, at least in part.

A good German friend of mine who is now close to 50, is married to a Russian woman and they live in Switzerland. He personally told me that in Germany the women are as bad as the AW and that the German divorce and custody laws are just as stacked against men, as they are in the US. He also said that the Swiss women are about as exciting in bed as a dead fish (I have no personal experience with them however). The Germans consider the Swiss to be bizarre, eccentric, and reclusive, so keep that in mind.

Why not consider Poland? Polish women looks a lot like the German women, but the Poles are much more family-oriented, traditional, and the women are nicer. I know the German men love the Polish women. Just a thought...

Your right, in countries where men are aggressive in pursuing women, the women become more picky about what guys they date and they also are less likely to flirt with men.
Here in America, women don't even make eye contact with men, let alone flirt with men! Women in the US are extreamly stuck up and unfriendly. They have a lot of guys asking them out and therefore have a whole bunch of dating options.

I would say, in America 75% to 80% of the good looking women have boyfriends. The 20% to 25% that don't have boyfriends, are getting asked out ALL THE TIME. In fact, I read an article last year that said in New York city, it was estimated that attractive women are asked out 300 times a year!

Now I know why women in the US are so unfriendly towards men, most of them already have boyfriends and the ones that don't, are getting asked out all the time. This is a frustrating thing to deal with if you are a man living in the United States. You are fighting for the small percentage of good looking women that are available and the women hold all the cards in the dating market.

If I was living in Germany, Ukraine or Russia, where the men are not as aggressive with women, I would stand a better chance of meeting and dating women. In those countries, women aren't being asked out by hundreds of guys a year and you don't have all that PUA crap in those countries either. Here in America men pay thousands of dollars to learn how to do "day game" and "pull women at bars and clubs" at PUA seminars.

Like Winston has said, when it comes to dating, LOCATION makes all the difference in the world!

Sounds exactly like Australia. The same goes for internet dating. I have known women who say they get as many as 200 messages within the first few days of signing up. As a man, I would maybe get two a week if I were lucky! Internet dating is simply a waste of time for men in the US/Australia/UK. It is only useful for chatting to women in other countries.

Internet dating also artificially inflates egos of women more than it would in the real world. When they suddenly have 200 messages after signing up, they are going to think they are God's gift to men. Again, this is only going to increase their already high standards even further.

It is no surprise that women here are so stuck up. If they have that many men hitting on them all the time, they tend to develop whats called a "bitch shield". Therefore by default, they tend to block out any men unless they're in the very top few, ie earn a 6 figure salary, drive a BMW, own a house, tall, and extremely good looking.

In the US/Australia/UK the average man simply doesn't stand a chance. Its not even worth the time or energy in bothering with women here.

Wow, there seems to be very mixed experiences with German women. I haven't ever met any German women like the ones you have described. Perhaps you were just unlucky?
