I have always loved Spanish guitar since I first heard Ennio Morricone's themes in the Sergio Leone Westerns as a kid in the 1970's .

(Aside to EuroBrat: Ennio Morricone, now THAT is a great Italian!)

Anyway it was Spanish guitar from Jim Stubblefield that I discovered when separated around 2000, those CD's saved me and kept me going. Thanks for reminding me of great music!

Stubblefield's stuff is not strictly traditional, it's usually jazzy and freeform, thus a little off-topic here, but anyway here is a link:
