Sorry, I missed this thread entirely. Obviously all these videos are from well-known movies, produced between the 70s and the 80s, featuring this beautiful blondie, Gloria Guida. They were a sub-genre of "commedia all'Italiana" (Italian-style comedy), veering on the erotic or the sensual.

Consider that Italy was still quite a conservative Catholic culture back in the 70s, so even showing a pretty girl who is supposed to be underage (some of those titles are quite explicit: "the high school student", "the underage girl", etc.) in a "soft core" sexual situation was tickling a taboo and very titillating.

These movies were cheaply made and crafted to please a male audience looking for sexual thrills. As far as I read, they were rather popular when they launched in cinemas but, really, they were meant to be watched and re-watched on TV, or played on VHS tape when they became available.

Turning up to a hardcore porn movie back then carried some kind of stigma. Those movies would usually be matinees (morning screenings) and on designated weekday evenings and you would typically see men entering the venue in the dark and pretending to read a newspaper, covering their faces entirely, during the break, when lights came on.

As you may or may not know, during those years (70s and early 80s) was European movie industry was in a deep crisis. Many producers couldn't find a better way to survive, than produce these cheap, light-hearted comedies, sometimes spiced up with erotic or sensual sub-plots and scenes. Those clips you referred to on this threads are from Italian movies, but similar movies were also produced in France, Germany, the UK, etc.

Interestingly enough, even the Philippines had their season of soft-core movies, called "bombas". Again, another example of deeply Catholic and conservative culture creating an outlet for man to enjoy some titillating contents.
