Looks legit... but maybe you want to check with other ESL boards (Dave's ESL Cafe?) to see what they think.

If you want to be a teacher at a public or private school in the states or internationally, I wouldn't do a masters in TESOL, I would choose a more specific, teachable subject. TESOL degrees can get you teaching jobs for mainly kids/adults in private schools overseas and lower paid teaching gigs in the states but you won't be able to get high paying local or international school jobs unless you specialize in a particular subject. I specialized in masters reading/writing and humanities. This essentially guarantees me a gig in any school I want cause they always need reading & writing specialists. With a humanities I can teach social study type classes. I think a masters in reading/writing would offer you more long term success than a TESOL would, plus it looks better on paper.

The truth is you don't NEED ANY DEGREE or CERTIFICATE to teach abroad... the best one I took was from globaltesol.com and didn't take more than a week to get. They had a job waiting for me in Korea as soon as I was finished.

All the rest is BS... infact many schools just want a NATIVE ENGLISH SPEAKER.. they don't care if you have grade 2 or not. Soooo many times I've gone in for an interview and they've said "Where are you from?" and "Do youl have any experience?". That was it... I always brought my certificate which they didn't much care about.

They will basically throw you infront of a class and if you don't run away screaming then you get the job.

If you are looking to make money at teaching you need to get private classes... you make 10 to 30 times teaching privates as you will sitting in a classroom. What really got me was in Brazil a school offered me $300 a month and said that was good money. My friends offered me some of their private classes and I was making $300 a week teaching part time privates.

All that other stuff is just hoity toity bullsh1t for feminists and the extremely politically correct crowd.
