I find the current valuations for Bitcoin to be absolutely insane. It would not surprise me if this conspiracy was true. Bitcoin could crash global equity markets.

The Bitcoin markets are in utter turmoil at the moment - the cryptocurrency that has become the envy of all speculative assets, possibly one of the greatest in modern history, is experiencing extreme volatility.

Taco, Bitcoin is a massive bubble. The moment people start doing what all market players do, sell as well as buy buy buy, you will see a 40%+ correction.

“It's not so much that Bitcoin is going through the roof - it's that fiat currencies are in free fall, but only Bitcoin is noticing.”
Bitcoin's YTD return has risen to a staggering 12x, while ethereum is up nearly 50-fold.
Bitcoin's market cap is now the same as HSBC at $196 billion, and greater than that of Coca Cola, Cisco, Toyota, Comcast, Pepsi, Bank of China, and Boeing as it is fast approaching Citigroup at $200 billion.

While the Dow Jones Index increased 4,200 points, or 21% since the beginning of 2017, the Bitcoin price has surged more than $9,000, or a staggering 1,125% increase. Furthermore, the Bitcoin price doubled in just the past month. This is completely insane. Even though a lot of Bitcoin enthusiasts are shouting for $20,000 and $100,000 Bitcoin, if we are ever going to get there, there needs to be a serious correction first.

Bitcoin is the hugest financial booby trap the history of the world has ever seen. You will see how many hundred of billions of e-Fiat will disappear to nothing as soon as someone (unknown to this moment) will pull the plug.

If you've got Bitcoin, I would strongly advise you sell it now. If it's seen as a threat to the dollar or other major currencies, countries may start outlawing crypto-currencies. It's a mathematical computer program. How much should it really be worth?

You can short Bitcoin at anytime but at $14,000/share I'm guessing only central banks are interested in it.
Some investors have speculated Bitcoin could start a market crash when they start selling it.

I've studied just a bit of economics at the grad level, and I don't pretend to be able to predict this sort of thing, even with regular money.
I think this is a bubble, but a rational person could participate in a bubble and try to get out at the right time. If you buy one bit coin, can you cash out in four hours? A co-worker explained to me that you can only cash out once a day. He said you could cash out $1,000 a day, but that must have been old news if is over $10k per coin now, unless it's an illiquid currency and you can only buy high dollar merchadice with it.
How do you buy it? Can you sell it? Where do you buy it online, what is the procedure, and how do you cash out?

There will be Bitcoin futures soon but, with this kind of volatily, how much margining will exchanges ask for and how much margining will players want to put up with?
