Does anyone know of any websites that have legitimate online jobs? There are lots of scams out there that charge you money to join their "database" and you don't get jack shit in return. So does anyone know of any sites that offer REAL online jobs?

Does anyone else know of any online sites that have online jobs or ways to make money online?

oDesk.com is legit. Jobs are mostly white collar related though and you'll be competing with Indians who will work for $3 an hour.

I've turned down a couple of jobs on there since I stuck my profile on before Christmas, but it's nice to be asked.

I am just looking for a short reply. Hasn't anyone here had any success making money online or working online? If so, briefly explain it, and list whatever websites you used to find the jobs.

Sorry but I don't have hours to just sit around reading a bunch of posts. It would be best if it can all be condensed and simplified into one brief post.

In short, I am asking two questions to the members reading this.

1. Have you successfully made money online or had an online job? If so, how?

2. What website did you use to make money or find an online job?

I'm working on something and I'll get back to you once I test it out to see if it works. In the mean time I'll give you this resource:

It's an online business creator. Both hosting, easy to use web development tools, and guides for how to build your site and get people to visit it and also how to make money from it. I know this works because I've done independent Google searches for many different topics and found websites created using SBI. Just make sure to find a good niche, which this will help you do also.

That site looks interesting. After doing some research, I found some interesting case studies of successful travel sites from girls who knew nothing about computers. Their stories are pretty inspiring. Have a look below.

I've searched for things in Google before like "buying a van" or "Malaysian Travel" or any number of random, unrelated searches and found websites created using SBI. That really impresses me because I wasn't looking for anything even related to Sitesell and I still found websites made with it. Just yesterday I did a Google search for "America Fall Roman Empire" and the first website that comes up was made with Site Build It. Shows me that it really does work.

Thanks for posting the ODesk.com site. It's really helped me out.

Went through those links, so all you have suggested so far is building your own website and earning passive income through that. There must be millions of people already doing that, and I doubt if most of them are earning anything from it at all.

That Odesk site was decent cause it actually listed jobs. Does anyone else know of any sites like that, that list online jobs online? Thanks
