Well of course, the need for basic slaves has gone down over the years with the rise of technology. So lots of people now live in concentration camps where the parochiality of the social circles compensates for their poverty. Every now and then one of these people are use for some mundane task like accounting or some other boring shit and then tossed back in. Some step out of line are branded criminal outlaws. Then you have the house slaves like lawyers, doctors, etc. They get a little more freedom/money for successfully passing conditioning tests but are nevertheless slaves. One of the reasons women hate so called "descent guys" is because deep down they know they are just slaves under the control and mercy of a master.

The pain of this has been increasing since the 2008 crash. The trend was clear by 2009.
The reasons are many. Low wages and structural unemployment which by all indications is going to get much worse.
The general public is realizing now prices have been rising much faster than their wages.
Few even realize what is happening with structural unemployment.

The police ranks could easily be filled with rent a cop wages but the consequences of this would be wide spread general corruption. The sure fire way to tell when cops will full third world is by there wages. A common myth or lie cops tell themselves is they are paid a higher wages is because of the job risk, its completely untrue however this hypocrisy has worked very well so far.

While it is 100% true for most of the work force unions are irrelevant, police are the one minor exception.

Police have nothing remotely to do with the implements of economic improvement.
If the city consist of cock carouselling single moms, hood rats and gangstas. Its going to be a ghetto with most of its social and material investment in expanding the ghetto. The police are just spectators.

Generally women are are often very poorly adapted to modern life. Most of human existence has not been anything like today. They are optimized to a hunter gather lifestyle.
