Why would she? If she is looking for free food and drinks, the unemployed man may have difficulty with that if he is not independently wealthy. If she is looking to get married, the unemployed man is not a good prospect at this time.

An unemployed man is never a good prospect, it is hardwired into women to look for 'breadwinners' even if they don't want kids or marriage, they are programmed to look for men who will work and are capable of doing so - men who can't or won't work won't be successful in getting women - or not the women they want.
