But none of these seem to account for the chix overweight, which adds further to the problem.
If they accounted for that it would really show the dismal picture.

So if there are more women than men overall, and presumably marriages are 1-1, then how is it possible there are more single men than women? I think I have to call BS on this one.

If you look at the map the west and north are where more single men are where its the opposite in hte other direction.

well what do you mean? yeah marriages are 1:1 but that doesn't account for those left out, being the excess chumps and -in all fairness- a good deal of the chubby girls.

Because the US has the worlds reserve currency it attracts men from all over the world(Mexico) to come and work. When the US currency loses its world reserve status all these extra dudes will probably pack up and leave making the gender ratio more tolerable.

I agree only 3% of American singles are worth dating but not for the reasons the article mentioned.

I posted the interactive chart earlier. Playing with it will show there are more single women than single men at younger ages. There excess of women vs men is due to the elderly.

The surplus of QUALITY young single men versus QUALITY young single women might be different from what the charts show. All the single mothers out there count as singles, and there are lots of those. On the other hand, the criminals in prison are also mostly single and mostly men, which offsets the single mothers to some extent. It is well know that quality single young black men (employed at a decent job, non-thuggish) are in extremely short supply versus quality single young black women (educated, not hoes or single mothers, not sheboon).

Here is an interview done on NPR Radio in December 2001 talking about the fact that by 2010, single men will outnumber single women by 2 to 1 in the 30 to 39 age group!

Single men outnumber single women from age 18 to 49 age group right now in America by 20% from research I have done on the subject. But perhaps the 30 to 39 age group might have the worst male to female ratios.

Jamesbond I have seen that youtube.com video before and it is an excellent one!!!! This great shortage of quality single women in the U.S. is one more reason more men (other than becoming a MGTOW) should expand their options by going ABROAD to find love, happiness, and possibly a great marriage partner!!!

Two things...

1. If American women were sexy and available there would be no demand for porn.

2. This goes to show you how desperate and distracted most guys are. Don't seem to care the economy is going up in flames and WW III is starting soon.
