The English guy is a trip. If all customers were like that, the marriage agency biz would be a goldmine.

Looks like some guys marrying lower class poor girls looking for a way out of poverty. But, it's a similar scenario you would face in the Phillipines. In that respect, Thailand is better because Thailand has a viable middle class. But women in the middle class have options so aren't going to be interested just because you are from a "developed" country. I don't see why this is a mystery to some guys. A younger man should find a culture he is interested in and integrate himself into the community. He will meet a normal middle class woman the natural way. The mongers will have their fun and then drop like flies.
