So, seriously, this "A Foreign Affair" site, is it for real? because I've read 5 to 6 profiles all from the same chinese city all who are attractive as hell and christian, it just seems too good to be true.... someone tell me it isn't real so I can go back to being cynical!

It's a legit site, but of course, on any big dating site there will be scammers and gold diggers looking to use men. You still have to use common sense discretion.

As Kai says, CLM is good, although if you do some digging most of the ladies there are on CLL.

AFA is expensive and a relic of the past.

Live in China and you can find many ways of finding dates that don't involve CLL/CLM. I visited a dating agency - they had a huge operation with dozens of staff.

Really scams/scammers is more dependent on the country. China was great for dating, I met plenty of A+ quality ladies there. Everyone I dated had a degree and most spoke fluent English.

Thailand is proving pretty rubbish so far. There are a lot more scammers, like loads of ladies who won't meet me IRL so I assume they just want to talk to farangs who are in farangland and can send them money.

Also the quality of lady here is much lower than China. I've only really met one middle class "good girl". Issan girls, while fun, could be pretty catastrophic as wives. Especially if you're not alpha enough to lay down the law and set ground-rules (especially as $$$ is concerned).

Many good English speakers here are bar girls or escorts. And annoyingly many of the good looking women who are interested in farangs are also escorts.

Hi, im looking at the angle of UK guys chatting/meeting up with the plethora of Asian girls in the Middle East.

Im in the process of getting women from here (im based in Dubai) to complete profiles along with pictures.

The Girls are willing to chat to their ''Match'' and all are interested in meeting the guy and marraige.

Im looking to match up both the profile of the guy and the girl, looking at maybe offering the guy to buy a certain amount of profiles a month, its early days yet but the girls are very eager and feedback from Guys back in the UK is positive.

As you probably know back in 2012 I made a site called Asian Love Connections. Well the site is struggling in a competitive market - BUT - it looks as if I'm about to have the first marriage (that I know of) occur as a result of people meeting on it.

Imagine, I make a site, two people meet on it then get married. It's mind blowing!

Well Winston did make this forum and I met Rock, Falcon, PublicDude, Voice and Everdred IRL so I suppose that's also amazing (but I'm not going to marry any of those).

The quality of girls on OKCupid is pretty good, but on DateInAsia it's even better, and there are so many more to choose from. Is there any particular reason for this?
