Come for Security, Stay for Love

Some Filipinas look for poreners because they see it as a way to a better life. In other words, they come to you for material rewards and stability. If they do not overdo it, it is not such a bad thing. At least they came to you for something. Plus, it is your traditional role as a man.
Not all guys like a purely business- based approach.

A desired task for some, thus may be to turn a practical relationship like that into a romantic one. For the girl to actually start loving you for you.
It can often be done, actually.

The way to do it is to give her lots of great memories. Every time you date, make it a ´´ field trip´´.
Visit some landmarks, cinemas, go on boat tours, even on a tour to the local zoo. Snorkeling is great. Kissing in the moonlight and all other movie stuff are very effective. Candlelight dinners. Mellow karaoke and singing her a love song.
All an investment. If you play the guitar, it is also a great thing. Being a joker is likewise appreciated.
Then, if and when she agrees to intimacy before or after marriage, one is to dazzle her with superb techniques sending her to the stars.
It does not work in 100 percent of cases, but I would say in the majority of them, it does.

However, what does not work for sure is being an insufferable bore whose only worth is money and who has no imagination at all. I have seen those guys. Dour faces, sullen, untalkative, never joking, never carrying out any fun activities. They just drink beer while their gals are on the phone chatting with friends.

Some of these guys look like silent condors sitting on a rock.

These are just ATMs for the girl. In a case like that, the probability of her falling in love with you for you is lower and do not be surprised if all she loves you for is money. Or rather, she loves your money and not you.

Because you are not fun to be with.
