You invite a girl on a date, she comes and sits there and says nothing. One hour, two hours.

You ask questions, the answers are one word and there is no" how about you?". No other questions. You go someplace, and are in a taxi and for a long time, again, she says nothing.

If she is in another town, you go there and again, no talk. You spend hours traveling there, and then hours back but while you are there, she is again, mute.

You attribute it to " language problem" but even if you talk in Tagalog, again she says nothing.

After a while, it starts grating on your nerves and makes you angrier and angrier.

Eventually, you leave the mute one. She is actually even worse than the real mute.

Because even in the case of real muteness, there is sign language. But here you have a statue or a vegetable. No conversation.

I usually stop the relationship after some dates.

I suppose she could be shy. If you are really interested, you could get to know her and see if she will open up. If you can't stand to be around someone so shy, though, it might not work out anyway. Does she speak Tagalog? Is she from the jungle?
