The Bride Business

Post by Mr S »

Australian 60 minutes take on Ukranian/Russian bride business. The American 60 minutes piece was blocked outside the country so can't make a comparison to the two, although the Aussie version seemed relatively fair for a mainstream depiction. The typical "dirty old man" knock though was still thrown in to appease the female audience.

I will watch it in a bit, but I want to rant a bit about these sorts of things.

Mark brought up the reality, which is the average age of men that have married women from FSU, SEA and SA are 39, while the average age of the women are 29, being the average age gap to 9.8 years. Which is much closer to Western Culture norms than many people realize. Most American Women want an average age gap of no more than 2-5 years under age 30, maybe 8-10 after age 30.

So the Dirty Old Man thing really is red meat for the Feminist Movement in Anglo Society.

It would help of they followed the younger men on tour. Why always go after dudes in their 50's and 60's??? Especially the ones without realistic desires???

Mark's Tour cost $4k, AFA cost $3.7K, none include your domestic flight to get to where ever they are leaving from. The only way to reduce cost is to do it yourself.

It's blocked outside of America and I can't watch it. I even tried alternative proxy servers and still doesn't work.

The lame stream media always wants to focus on the outrageous so they will go and do stories on age extremes or some loser guy (from a Western perspective) and focus on them so that it just looks like weirdo freaks are doing this and that the women are just after money and a new passport or something. All the guys they followed were over 40, a few pushing 60 or more probably. They only showed one younger guy and I think he was maybe around late thirties or early 40's. There is no sensationalism to show normal aged guys looking for women, or perhaps there just weren't any available. These trips are kinda costly and younger guys probably haven't hit the frustration wall yet unlike men in their 40's or above to want to spend money on this sort of thing.

Its the same show that Mark rebutted.

All the guys they always follow it seems are over 40. The only success story I've seen was done by the Our America series, where they followed AFA down to Colombia where a late 40's Single Father met and married a early 40's Colombian women. If you haven't seen it, he was I guess your basic normal divorced, lonely, middle aged man.

He posted a few times on the Planet Love forums to give his side of the story and reply to any questions people had surrounding his relationship and the tour.

Its true about the cost and the level of frustration. Frustration is building, however cost does keep out some rift-raft to some degree. I have notice however that other tour operators like Mark's, Eduard's and Jack's restrict access to their tours. This is the future model for this industry. You can't just let every Tom, Dick and Harry onto the tour. Yes it allows you to generate income, but I believe you can do a service to men without embarrassing the industry as a whole when the media comes calling.

I'm working on a solution to the cost issue. I know it can be done for about the cost of any of these tours. However its going to involve alot of organization on your part... It also won't involve dealing with language issues either. Despite these services constantly saying that you shouldn't overlook non-English speaking women, the fact that only 3-5% of the men that even look at this get on the airplane, means there's plenty of opportunity for you.

Stay Tuned...

I couldn't watch it either, first my flash player wasn't the latest. Now it won't let me probably because I'm on Linux. Need to run Win through Virtual box :x Or it could be you have to click "Join" and make an account there for the videos to play. But I found this 7 minute (instead of full 17min) version labeled "Part 1":

Nauseating ABC anchors... I found this more interesting:

In Ukraine, even mascots have sweet girlfriends! (watch 2:35 - 2:40)

Ah, loved the last 3 videos about Ukraine! More guys should watch it, shows the beauty and some of the culture, the food is out of this world tasty and healthy/organic, but I feel they concentrated too much on it and Chernobyl. They did show a general crowd on the streets, boy those girls look stunning in tight pants and heels! *sigh*
