This documentary (available on Netflix) profiles six men who went on an AFA tour to Ukraine. Out of six men, two men ended up in relationships that they were happy with. Three men got scammed. Another guy wasn't scammed, but he decided he wanted nothing more to with Ukraine or Ukrainian women after spending two weeks there. One of the guys who got scammed ended up paying about $10,000 in translation fees. He was paying to have the letters he was sending and receiving translated.

So if you go there try to have realistic expectations. There are plenty of scammers and gold diggers but also some genuine women.
