Hahaha. I just talked to an older American woman this morning. As soon as I mentioned I just got back from Mexico, her eyes widened and she said, "Wow! You're Brave....I won't go to Mexico anymore....the cartels are just too bad....They're kidnapping people!"

The statement sounded so absurd to me. It was really an aha moment for me, that showed me just how mind-controlled people are here. Oh well, more for me.

It isn't as simple as being a citizen of a Latin American country and you get a passport in two years, you need to be a 'natural born citizen' of a Latin American country, meaning, you need a birth certificate.

If you are naturalised then you wait 10 years with everyone else.
