I intend to get out in the next few years when kids settled, I totally agree and feel this kinda shit coming to the UK/USA... as people don't trust the banks now, many save cash in safes, but how long til they change the currency? also in the 30's depression gold was forcefully bought back by the governments at a lower rate, think how many people followed the new gold rush? That is scary shit about the canadian banks!

Having been to Asia a fair bit, I personally would say if you can get a job with a western company out there, you would be made in all ways!, you would get good money, low living costs and lots of women.
