I followed this guy's Youtube channel who moved from America to Cambodia when he was 26. He got to Cambodia with a backpack of clothes, computer, and few grand. Even though he's not self-made in terms of $$$, he is definitely successful in what he did with his life and self-made because of how he moved there with no connections and just built his life there from scratch.
