Hi all,
Momopi told me recently that most dateless men in America will not consider going abroad, that's why this site doesn't appeal to most people, even if its message and claims are true.

If that's so, then why are most dateless men in the US unwilling to go overseas? Any theories or explanations?

I thought wanting to travel was part of human nature?
1. Because most everyone is brainwashed into thinking that every single nation outside of America is a Nazi dictatorship, even owned and directly run by North Korea. As if they publicly execute people suffering from depression or throw them into real prisons with killers, robbers, and drug runners.

2. Because they are brainwashed and told that women by their very nature are toxic, hateful, spoiled, and materialistic gold diggers, even as if it were a sin in the Bible for a woman to even turn a foot towards the outdoors, let alone have a job. They are told that it takes prison to toughen a man up to get a woman, and if a man is not bold enough to go to prison for the rest of his life; yes, even get taken out by a heavy barrage of missiles, then he is forbidden to have a woman. And they are even told like the Lake of Fire awaits all men who have no luxury car, no mansion, doesn't live in a gated community, doesn't make at least 8 or more figures a year, doesn't have a bank account that looks like a phone number, and yet gets into a relationship with, or married to, a woman. In other words, they say that if a man can not give a woman a life of endless, pure maximum luxury and if he doesn't live like a famous movie star, he has no right to have a woman.

3. Because most single men are poor and can not afford a $6,000+ passport, $75,000+ one-way international airline fares, they work 365 days a year at jobs with terrible pay, and they can not afford to travel international.

4. Some dateless guys have disabilities (alzheimer's, autism, cerebral palsy, Down's syndrome, bi polar disorder, ADHD, epilepsy, spinal muscular atrophy, muscular dystrophy, spina-bifita, etc), and if they go live in another country, they lose all of their benefits and would have to work from then on. They would no longer get their Social Security Disability pensions, Medicare, Medicaid, Section-8 housing, or any of the medications or special equipment they need to survive.

Very true, Yohan.

The expats who tend to be successful abroad are due to several reasons as you mentioned. Some bits of advice an old White expat I met in Thailand once told me:

1) Try to learn the local language.
2) Respect the local culture.
3) Don't be a whiny, sensitive and complaining foreigner. Doing this makes the local people dislike you greatly.
4) If you face discrimination, just move on. ...
5) Always be polite, even if some locals are not. If you don't, you'll likely end up in a conflict (and you'll never win in court or from the police, because they will always support the 'local' over a 'foreigner.'
6) Make friends with the locals. Don't be like the typical expat who only hangs out with other expats.
7) Avoid hanging out with other expats and foreigners too much, because they will end up warping your mind--and you'll constantly hear them complaining about things way too often.
I do this in the U.S. of Gay, and it works wonders. Some of the shadiest places in the country (e.g. Toledo, OH and Detroit, MI), this methodology works wonders. The cannibals will stop attacking once you stop pointing your feet at them.
