I signed a six-month contract with Meten English today, which begins March 1st. They'll help me look for an apartment at Jiefang Bei within the next week or two.
I also finished adding a whopping 299 new songs to my collection from the six new various-artist Chinese disco albums I bought 10 days ago (each album had 3 CD's apiece, and cost about USD $4 per album). That's 9 cents per song! The majority of them are in Mandarin, and they're really, really good.
This evening, I took a walk along the south side of the Yangtze River next to Nanbin Road (with a great view of the center of Chongqing) with my new female friend whom I hung out with last Thursday night (her English name is Evita). I brought along my iPod and two sets of headphones, and she liked my new music. We had a good time!
Well, that's the latest news from me. All good thus far! Thumbs up!
