Do you find loners are more interesting than crowds?

Post by Temprano26 »

Every time I go out alone places I just find people talk about nothing significant. They are just rambling about people they know while that person is not there. It seems loners are the only people that are introspective enough to find something deeper within themselves and have something interesting to say. That is often why I am completely outside of mainstream society and its narrow-minded bubbles.

It seems a lot of us are loners and so we have had to absorb American society and its narcissistic culture more than others who just stay within their cliques and don't grow as people. That is how it is with young people these days. They listen to their friends rambling about nonsense never having a mind of their own. Being a loner means finding the truth for ourselves and therefore we conclude that leaving the US is the only option left.

Being an introvert, I'm always amazed at how much people speak and how most of it seems totally uninteresting to me.

yeah i actually can't talk in groups to people i find it draining and would rather go back to being by myself. its so much easier being a loner. But i do enjoy company with a hot girl which is ironic due to my extreme loner tendencies.

Loners are much more deep, loneliness causes people to think deep, to ponder, loners create their own little world and often have pastimes such as reading, learning interesting stuff.

A lot of people do not realize this, but critical thinking is very useful when it comes to dealing with humanity and the crazy shit that comes with humans in general, critical thinking alone elevates your IQ, you wanna think better? enroll in a critical thinking course (how to think critically) it turns you into a logical person, who thinks properly and often stands out.

Popular folks are too busy with people around them to think, they all try to conform with one another in order to be accepted and fit in, they are "mainstream" and wish to be like it.

Notice how most artists, philosophers, writers, great economists etc. are often loners and eccentric, however loners also tend to be a bit crazy.... it comes with the package.... most serial killers are loners too.

by loners I mean actual eccentric lonely people, not wannabe emo shit trying to conform to subcultures, neither stupid american bitches claiming to be big time loners, thinking they are great readers like loners are because they read romantic novels at night while craving male d-i-c-k (often fat women).

Winston this a fascinating video!!! It describes me to down a "T". This is because I too don't feel I fit into or follow a crowd nor am I a "party animal". Also, I don't have a great deal of friends even though some people describe me as a nice guy. And not to brag here, but I have been tested to have a high I.Q. of 127 which is considered "above average intelligence". This video has helped me to understand why that during my high school years I had spent most of my time in the library during lunch break rather than the cafeteria were many of my peers socialized. An even today I can find myself spending many hours in a bookstore such as Barnes & Noble reading books (on the subjects relating to current events, history, sociology, conspiracies, military affairs, etc.) or magazines such as the Economist, the Atlantic, National Geographic, or Combat Aircraft. I even go to the movies alone and it wouldn't bother me!!!! But yet American society tends to label and treat people like us nerds, geeks, "square", wimps, losers, "gay", "shy", or now as having Asperger's Syndrome. And it's worse if you're a racial minority male in the U.S. because being a smart guy in the so-called black community for example is considered "you're trying to act white", "you're not really black (or some other minority)", or "you think your better than us". But whether you call it "pulling crabs in a barrel" , "the plantation/slave mentality", the "Willy Lynch Syndrome", or just plain jealousy from my own personal experience I have been treated far worse by fellow blacks than by some racist whites. However, I am so glad to have found the Happier Abroad forum to be able to express this view point and to find others who are like-minded.

In south africa blacks call other blacks who study and behave in a productive manner coconuts. Black outside and white inside. It is applied to blacks that go to formerly white schools for a white discipline type of education and join the middle class. It is derogatory. As if it is something bad to be useful member of society instead of a parasite, thug or criminal.

Another term they use is agent of whiteness

Good post. Basically, introverts tend to be thinkers while extroverts tend to be talkers.

As for critical thinking I enrolled in my own personal course in my early 30's and it's turned me into a individualistic logical thinker. I had just left a long term relationship and began living alone for the first time in my life except for a nine month period as a teenager. I refrained from reading/listening to media bullshit and kept all the mainstream mob and the crappy influences at arms length. The followers, the sheep, the type who will take stuff in like a wet sponge. Friendships were fractured but I was happy to go my own way rather than follow the crowd.

What about the ones who talk non-stop and don't know the meaning of a two-way conversation? Jesus, how incredibly boring are they? :(

When I was a young troep some of my mates would laugh as I would be under the covers with a torch at night reading in barracks. Or I would stay and read rather than go drink. And I would go to book shops and buy books. They asked why do I bother with that stuff. I told them I want to study when I've done my time.

I studied and made something of myself. I battled at first as academic discipline is totally different than military discipline and i had no idea how to use a library. Many of my mates ended up in the police or permanent force. In 1994 they were worked out for being white. Having no civvie skills they went to Iraq Afghan Somalia Sierra Leone etc.

There was another oke who was also a bit different and a total loner. He would read comic books with a candle and tear out and burn every page after reading it. If you disturbed him he would glare at you. But he was eventually boarded with a psych disorder  . And he was strange. Not just faking it to avoid being sent to the border. You didn't want to be sent to 1 military hospital for psych evaluation with every nutter corporal trying to prove you are faking, a faggot, or a traitor commie CO

There is nothing more conformist than an infantry battalion, yet nothing more full of wierd individuals and loners away from home for the first time

Probably because it was a blend of all corners of white society who wouldn't mix otherwise. No one escaped. Going to varsity first bought you 3 years grace and most likely entry as an officer but you still had to go. Only jewss got soft duty. Those manipulative parastitc conniving kikes always managed to land personnel, finance, medical services etc soft posts. No jew would ever sacrifice his time and life for whitey. And I guess the military was too afraid some jew would get hurt and some jew would claim 6 million. Not even the faggots escaped. They usually got catering corps, logistics, or medical services. But I must admit moffie medics were very good and caring and had no problem being in the firing line. They just wanted to do their bit like everyone else. More than you can say for jews.
