Las Vegas Sucks! The most antisocial unfriendly toxic place!

Even one of our forum members here, MarkLambo, acted as though I was a freak for asking why everyone in Vegas suburbs seems dead like a zombie, without even any normal human facial expressions. Mark acted like I was a freak or loser for saying that, as if Vegas was normal and only freaks and weirdos would say that.

Sounds like an episode of the Twilight Zone where you're the only normal person. You have to realize the fact that the majority of people live like robots, are not independent thinkers, and are not socially aware. To most people, the social life in America is all they know. Yes, I lived there from 2014 to 2016 but I didn't know about Happier Abroad until just recently after I saw your Youtube video.

There's also something very ARTIFICIAL about the people there too. Their mannerisms, voice, vibe, facial expressions, etc seem very canned and hollow. You know what I mean?

By definition Las Vegas is artificial because of the history. Everything is too commercial and there is no local feel and no local vibe to it.

Yeah but isn't it scary how zero people make eye contact with u in vegas? Even in a relaxed quiet area of the suburbs in vegas no one ever smiles or makes eye contact. And even if someone does smile its at a distance and they still dont wanna talk to you. Its like everyone is stone cold and theres some unspoken rule to never talk to strangers or look at them. For no logical reason. It just is. You don't realize that it's unnatural until u go abroad.

I dont get how youre supposed to sin in Vegas and the phrase "What happens in Vegas stays in Vegas". How am i supposed to secretly sin if no one wants to talk to u and everyone acts like u dont exist?

No one ever flirts either. I wonder if i tried if the women would call the police like in Seattle. I also dont see any guys flirting either. However women that have lived in vegas have told me that they get hit on everyday and cat called. I dont see how though since hitting on girls in vegas is taboo and i dont see any guy doing it. You dont even hear guys say "yo babe whats up" when a hot babe passes by or do any cat calling.

I wonder if it could be that some american women claim to always get hit on when its not really true. Maybe they get off on lying about it?

Have you also noticed that in America, if you have no friends or can't get any dates, that you can ONLY explain it with one of the following:

1. I am too shy and introverted to meet women.
2. I work too much and don't have time to meet women.
3. Women are too career oriented and not interested in marriage or men these days.

However, you are NOT allowed to say something like this:

"American women are not approachable. In America you aren't allowed to talk to strangers unless it's business related. There's a cold wall between people. There's no social connection or human connection. People are CLOSED and CLIQUISH and so is the social culture. Flirting is a taboo and considered creepy and inappropriate. Women are not open or enthusiastic toward men."

No way. That is a big no no. No one has the guts to say that, other than us on HA.

Even on foreign bride documentaries and romance tour documentaries, when they show the men going on the tour in the beginning, they always say one of the cliches above that are acceptable. In essence, they gotta blame themselves or say that women are too career-oriented. But they can't say the plain truth above that I put in quotes. It's way too taboo for some reason. Why?
