After observing how cold-hearted and stuck up AW are and reading about it on HA, I've come to realization that the most probable cause of the recession is women taking over the workforce. Think about it. Most of the jobs lost in the recession were those held by men, such as those in construction and manufacturing, hence the term "mancession". Plus, most of the jobs created after the recession went to women. The wave of man-hating feminism that screwed up the dating scene in the 90s got even worse in the 2000s, and it eventually plagued the job market. These days, women have no problems getting hired while most men can't even get an interview. While the US economy is a lot healthier now compared to the past couple of years, it's still pretty much a she-conomy; while 200,000+ jobs were created recently, they ALL went to women.

I have a possible theory to why women made it nearly impossible for men to get jobs. Female bosses found out that many men were going overseas to get dates, and they wanted to keep other lonely dateless men trapped in America, unable to go overseas.

In corporate America there is a valid reason for hiring women over men. Women are stupid and dysfunctional but they're not confrontational. So hiring a woman guarantees incompetence and no challenge to your job. On the other hand if you hire men they instinctively know that the only way to climb the corporate ladder is by finding fault in your work. There isn't a way to offer constructive criticism in most corporate American settings without threatening someones position. There is also the fact that male managers know they enjoy a certain sex appeal from women they've offered jobs below them.

So if the choice is between hiring an asshole male who can do his job and take yours or a slutty female who's incompetent, most male managers will choose the latter.

Yes, obviously the current harem system has its benefits for the men at the top, at least in the short term.
