I don't suppose anyone here knows of a good source for learning either of these languages? I normally take the Rosetta Stone approach since it works on intuition, like learning your first language. But Rosetta lacks a Danish or Norwegian module, so I'm open to any and all suggestions. I'm even willing to supplement multiple sources if one doesn't cover something very well. Thank you for any help with this, it's greatly appreciated

Have you tried Live Mocha? They have free language learning resources as well as language exchange.

From what I understand so far; Danish. Norwegian and Swedish are all very similar and the three have little trouble communicating with one another in their native languages. Danish would be my main concern, since this would be what my house mate and his family speak... since I posted this here I have come across an old danish rosetta stone module... but from what I can tell, they don't sell it anymore.

If they don't sell it anymore, you can try searching for it on Ebay. Or get it off the torrent sites like PirateBay.org. They have Rosetta Stone software on there.

I prefer the Primsleur audio programs, because you can listen to them any time, even when you are driving and the lessons will go into your subconscious mind.
