I think there's been one fundamental issue that's caused problems so far and it might be worth bringing up at this early stage.

At the moment, the three female posters who are the most active on these forums are a lady from a Caribbean island now living in Turkey, a lady from America who was brought up before the feminist revolution, and a lady from rural Celtic villages who has never been to America or even lived in any big cities. In addition, the female members here were targeted by Winston for being anti-feminist, foreign, traditional, or in some way offering different viewpoints from the women that the members of the main forum are used to.

However, so far the male posters from the main forums appear to want to talk to women from their own backgrounds about the issues they face, causing frustration and confusion in both parties when neither can relate to the other's experiences.

Would this place be more useful to the male members of the main forum as a civilised and tactful place where they can talk to similarily thoughtful and considerate women from their own backgrounds about the problems they face against each other? It seems to me this is the case already, and if so it could be worth changing pace before things get too far.

This forum was never meant to be just another typical women's forum. Winston has written a book emphasising the difference between western and foreign culture, in particular the difference between western and foreign women. He also has a website that does the same. And of course he has a forum for the same purpose.

Winston's book, website and forum are not meant to appeal to everybody. They are meant for people who share his view that foreign cultures and foreign women are generally better than western culture and women.

The reason why this forum was created was because Winston wanted more input from women. Presumably not just any old women, but women who share our views. Also, because he felt that the few women who joined the main forum were getting a lot of hostility, and that therefore they should have a place where they can avoid that hostility. Somewhere where they can feel welcome.

But that doesn't change the philosophy of the book / website / main forum. The criticism of western women and culture still stands.

There's a difference between justified hostility, and unjustified hostility. Sometimes it's deserved, and sometimes it's not. Whether or not the women on the main forum are treated fairly is up for debate. But anyone who has been to the main forum will quickly notice that there is a certain level of camaraderie between members which sometimes spills over into squabbling, and I think that's fine, as long as it doesn't get out of control, and usually it doesn't. That's just the way it is.

This forum is part of the Happier Abroad concept, and its philosophy and attitude towards western women. So it stands to reason that the kind of women who are supposed to be here are those who do agree with us, not those who do not.

So to answer the question of this topic, the kind of people who should be here are :

1) Women who are fully on board with the philosophy of Happier Abroad (in particular, but not limited to, foreign women)
2) Men from the main forum

As long as everyone here is mostly in agreement with each other, then it's working. Otherwise, it's not working. So far, it's not, which means that some people shouldn't be here.

I'd like to see some foreign women here. I'm talking about the kind of women who probably find it hard to even understand why we at the main forum dislike most western women. Women who if you tell them what western women are like, would be in disbelief. Women who can barely fathom how a woman can be the way western women are. That's the kind of woman who should be here.

By the way this forum is being watched closely by certain people. There are those who are very curious about this whole thing and are interested to see how it all works out. I hope that it becomes clear to those watching what happens when you don't recruit the right sort of members.

Yes. I have posted about topics which perhaps you can't relate to. Maybe if you spend some time on the main forum you might get a feel for those topics. I don't mind if any women here, western or foreign, finds it hard to relate to and understand what we talk about on Happier Abroad (of which this is an extension). The important thing is that the women that we deal with on here and the main forum are of the right quality. If they totally get what we talk about, good, as long as they don't try to deny it. And if they don't really get it, that's ok too, as long as they do not personally have the attributes that we complain about. The best scenario is women who are so far removed from the low quality attitudes that we dislike, that they have a hard time understanding it in the first place. That's the ideal, because at least it shows that the shitty western mindset is alien to her. I suppose it's a thin line to walk. If a woman gets it, she may deny it. If she doesn't get it, she may never get it. But the most important thing is that she be of the right mindset herself.

Don't be so narrow and one-sided. The women here don't care if you find foreign women better than western women. They are here to talk about issues that THEY care about - which includes women's issues, foreign men, dating, travel, family, health, world affairs, etc. They aren't required to agree with you on anything, or even with me.

Why should they? Unless they are lesbians, they aren't trying to date foreign women and have no personal vested interest in that topic.

So no, this forum is not only for women who agree with us about everything. It's simply for women who want to be happier abroad, discuss foreign cultures and living, and dating foreign men, etc. There are western women out there who prefer foreign men too, and you can't blame them because so many American men are dysfunctional and screwed up with major issues too. Some foreign women have even said that they can't find a normal guy here who doesn't have major issues. So this forum is for those western women who prefer foreign men and living abroad as well.

American culture is so screwed up and dysfunctional and out of whack, that even many women can see it. Those women should have a voice here as well, regardless of their views on dating. On this issue we can be united on that too.

Of course, foreign women are always welcome too. But I just wanted to make that clear.

The type of women this forum is for are:

1. Women who are happier abroad.
2. Women who are interested in foreign men and foreign cultures.
3. Foreign women who live abroad or immigrated to America and share some of our views.
4. Women who agree with us about the problems in America.
5. Freethinking women who seek truth and are open-minded.
6. Women against feminism and prefer being feminine.

Finally Johnny, please don't come here and insist that the women here agree with you. If they don't, then drop it and agree to disagree. This forum is not intended to be your preaching ground. Don't force your beliefs onto others. Bottom line: This forum is about THEIR (WOMEN'S) ISSUES, NOT yours. You can post your issues as a polite guest, but don't push them onto others. Please keep that in mind. Thanks.
