The Royal Ascot horse races...one of the biggest events in the social calendar of Britain began this week with the best of fashion, style and sports...

Gotta love those hats! The 'Royals' always have the best ones.
We have the Kentucky Derby and the ladies do that hat thing too. But not nearly as grand. Indecision may or may not be my problem - Jimmy Buffett

Not been as I'm against horseracing- I'm a bit 'animal welfare'- but I love the traditions of the event and the ridiculous hats.
 When there is no enemy within, the enemies outside cannot hurt you.
