What do vaccine package inserts say?

Postby Renata » Fri Jul 19, 2013 5:35 pm

Ever wondered what was in vaccines & what the vaccine package inserts say? You can read about this on the FDA's website, & you will be shocked by some of the Warnings, Precautions, Ingredients & content.

Here's an excerpt from the Diphtheria and Tetanus shot package insert, Page 11, 3rd paragraph >
http://www.fda.gov/downloads/BiologicsB ... 101580.pdf
Adverse events reported during post-approval use of Tripedia vaccine include idiopathic thrombocytopenic purpura, SIDS, anaphylactic reaction, cellulitis, autism, convulsion/grand mal convulsion, encephalopathy, hypotonia, neuropathy, somnolence and apnea. Events were included in this list because of the seriousness or frequency of reporting. Because these events are reported voluntarily from a population of uncertain size, it is not always possible to reliably estimate their frequencies or to establish a causal relationship to components of Tripedia vaccine.

the question is, what can we do to protect ourselves, our children and our planet? The first step is to stop living under the false assumption that everyone has our back, because they don’t ! :|

I haven't had a vaccine since I was very young since they are required for young children before they can start school here. I also avoid pills as much as possible... there seems to be a medicine for everything these days, and it just seems to me that the more things that you try to do for your body, the more likely it would be to forget how to do it itself. I'm not an anti-medicine whackjob tho, I just feel as tho medicine is supposed to cure a condition and not merely control it indefinitely so I choose to avoid it when I can.

This makes me afraid to enter a hospital ... it's like roulette. If you're sick & they keep you, there's no way of knowıng what's beıng admistered. Scary!

I understand the feeling of wanting to do what you think is best to help someone get better, but curing one condition by possibly causing another is not the way to go about it. And then on top of the possible side effects, as you mentioned with hospitals, you have to wonder if the nurses/doctors take their job 150% seriously. All it would take is one mixed up medical record or a larger dose of something that required and a patient could be in serious danger. I don't know how things are where you live Renata, but I hear all manner of terrible things from my mother about Hospitals. She works in the laboratory, doing the various blood/bodily fluid tests. There are countless nurses here who know the absolute bare minimum in order to get the job that they have.

As for side effects, the best example I can cite when discussing modern medicine is one of the side effects of a popular asthma medication... "shortness of breath". For anyone who may not know, asthma is a condition which causes difficulty breathing. But here we have a "Food & Drug Administration" approved asthma medication with a possible side effect of "shortness of breath". I'm not a doctor, but something seems wrong with that :geek: I've actually had a doctor tell me that trying natural remedies may not be safe.

As I said before tho, I'm not totally against modern medicine. If I had a serious condition that had been proven to be cured my some form of medication, I would definitely take it. But using nasal decongestant spray every time your nose is congested (side effects include dizziness, rapid heart beat), popping a headache pill any time your head hurts (which is nearly always caused by something simple), or using anti-microbial hand sanitizer every time you touch something just sounds like a fast track to a weakened/deficient immune system.

Also, there should be no law stopping you from asking what the known side effects of a drug are. Assuming you aren't in the process of dying and can spare a few moments to ask. As a patient it should also be your right to refuse any treatment that you don't feel safe about... it is your body after all. There are likely a dozen other ways to cure any condition, assuming it isn't of extreme seriousness.
