The Grand Bazaar in IstanbulThe Grand Bazaar in Istanbul is one of the largest and oldest covered markets in the world, with 61 covered streets and over 3,000 shops which attract between 250,000 and 400,000 visitors daily. It’s a most interest of this market. A trip to Istanbul is not complete without a visit to the Grand Bazaar. I visit in this market by bus during my Istanbul travel. There are thousands of things you can find and purchase in the Grand Bazaar. The gate that one usually enters into the bazaar is called "Nuruosmaniye Gate" that means "the light of the Ottomans". It’s a really beautiful place for shopping and excitement. All good branded things are available in this market. I like most , and . I bought many things for me and my family. After reading your post I really wish to visit this bazaar soon. Well now I am confused for my net tour that I get . I really need to know the most important points of this tour and especially for kids because my family wish to come with me on this tour.

Covering an area of 54.653 square meters, it also still ranks as one of the world’s biggest covered markets. In other words, keep on reading if you want to be prepared before entering this maze of 56 interconnecting vaulted passages, housing over 4.000 shops with persistent shopkeepers eager to use their relentless sales tricks.

This bazaar is the biggest bazaar in the world. Istanbul is the famous city in Turkey. It has many beautiful attractions for visiting. The Sultan Ahmed Mosque, Emirgan Park is Istanbul Aquarium is the most famous places for visiting.
My tour expierence with was memorable.
Re: The Grand Bazaar in IstanbulIt was great mosque! I used to visit this mosque with the help of last year. The Sultan Ahmed Mosque is a piece of art. This mosque is worth to visit in Turkey. There you have to be quiet and follow the rules. The surroundings are also great.
Re: The Grand Bazaar in IstanbulI agree livon555 it is also one of the famous and attractive place to visit there. I have been there a month ago with and really enjoyed my trip. It is popularly known as the Blue Mosque for the blue tiles adorning the walls of its interior. It is also one of the historic mosque in Istanbul.
