Does the west perpetuate some of its own social problems?

Postby Voice of Reason » Mon Dec 24, 2012 7:23 pm

For example:

Drug problems are worse in the USA ("The War On Drugs") than in Amsterdam.

You are more likely to get king hit in the west where alcohol laws are tougher, then in Thailand.

Does the strictness on certain things (totalitarianism) in the west only serve to make the problems worse?

Or do you think it is just cause and effect?

Yeah, the West pretty much does this. It is all by design. The war on drugs, feminism, consumerism, statism, corporatism, and everything else is promoted and forced on society. Otherwise people would be free to partake or refrain from these things as they saw fit.

These things cause a lot of misery, but there's always a ton of money to be made from misery.
