When I was listening to Winston's latest audio lecture, which he says he recorded while camping in the forest by a lake, I couldn't help but draw similarities between Winston and Henry David Thoreau. When you think about it, Winston is doing much the same as what Thoreau spent his life doing in the 19th century – being out in nature on his lonesome, by a lake, philosophizing and reflecting on the shortcomings of society. The only difference is that while Thoreau's ideas were confined to a piece of paper, Winston takes advantage of modern technology and records his thoughts on a mobile phone, then makes it accessible to the world via the internet. I really enjoyed listening to that audio lecture. Winston is an unsung hero in my book, who has done more for humankind than any of these useless celebrities that people worship. I know that Winston cops a lot of flack from feminists and other losers on the internet, but rarely gets the praise he deserves. That's why I'm making this thread; so that we can at least show him some appreciation for the important work he is doing. God bless Winston Wu.

"Trying to meet women in America is like trying to decipher Egyptian hieroglyphics."
